I posted recently on Facebook a link to a Helsinki photographer. His work was mildly interesting and really only because I know someone who travels from UK to Helsinki fairly regularly. I thought he’d be similarly ‘mildly’ interested. I hadn’t reckoned on the photographer’s blog title including the words, ‘Artistic Photographs’. There was a time, long ago, when that could mean only one thing, nude or erotic photography. So disappointment all round when the Artistic Photos turned out to be of Finnish Lakes, Ducks and City Scapes…
So, by way of an apology for raising false hope here’s a woman with seaweed on her face from my ‘Things You Might Find at the Beach’ series…

Apology accepted. But whose picture is this? It’s very good…
That would be my work; model is ‘Jane’, seaweed from Aberaeron Beach…
It’s totally great. You hide your light under a bushel…
Thanks Bob. I have the vision but am lacking the energy and the time right now…
I did wonder, but the conjunction of ‘artistic’ in *that* sense and ‘Aberaeron’ was problematic… woman in traditional welsh costume takes her shawl off?
Agreed, it is a nice picture!
Mmm… liking the sound of that…
It’s certainly an idea that has its attractions; it could never be as bad as this…

Hmmm… I don’t know so much… I’m seeing really rather good-bad…

I feel you might have inadvertantly thrown down a challenge… I think I’m the man for the job.
Touché. Blog’s title has now been changed to assume a more “accurate” representation of its contents. Accept my mild apology.
