The questioned posed by Bob Machin (\’When did taking stupid, crap, dull, meaningless etc. pictures become seemingly the only necessary qualification for being an exhibited photographer?\’) in response to Sara Ramos\’ Invasion of Everything That Was Restrained warranted much discussion on FaceBook.
So now\’s YOUR chance; one week, one image. The image must be colour, must have 50 words minimum explaining its meaning, and have a title that compounds the crime.

Been out with my camera this morning and I have report that taking crap pictures ain’t as easy as you might imagine. I sense someone somewhere is slinging my petard over a stout branch in readiness for my submission on Thursday.

BTW ‘getting into’ Sara Lamos’ work. The problem as I see it is that it’s a photograph of a sculpture and forcing us to engage with it as photograph is sort of beside the point. Thinking about it as a sculpture; screwed up paper, yes that’s what happens to DISCARDED ideas (not neccesarily bad ones) but don’t they go in the bin? Not hanging from the fahkin’ ceiling.
Anyway, as you’ve pointed out, making bad photographs is hard work. Good luck!
Works a treat after registering. Surely no rules about what you photograph. On the courses I’ve done they were pretty sniffy about photographing other art yet I see this done all the time. Who makes these rules and if you are not after a qualification or a job why obey them. Please yourself it’ll end up in landfill anyway.

So far we’ve 3 photos; what with one thing and another I think it’ll be useful to extend the deadline; last upload 30th November and voting until Thursday
Personally, I’m missing the opportunity to comment on submissions. They seem to engender nothing if not debate. Is that not possible?
It ought to be possible but this plug-in can’t do it. It was a poor choice but for WordPress the only choice. Maybe Facebook has an app?
